Whip It Movie

Drew Barrymore tries a different career when she released her directorial debut with a humor-filled film, Whip It.I have always liked her bubbly aura and now I can only get excited to see how she would handle the field of movie making. The film stars Ellen Page (Juno!) as Bliss Cavendar, a teenager from Texas who joins a beauty pageant and has grown tired of his Texan life. She shares this sentiments with her best bud Pash (Alia Shawkat). Oh well, it's all i know cuz i haven't watched the movie.;) But I heard that it's basically about discovering who you are.

This is another movie that will bring us to another world way way beyond our imagination. Mind you, it is not the movie adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Avatar is a new James Cameron (director of Titanic) film which falls on the category of sci-fi. It is an epic of a hero who ventures on a journey of discovery, deliverance and love as he explore an ancient alien planet and battle to save a civilization.
