La Diva Sings the RP National Anthem in Pacquaio-Cotto Fight

After Martin Nievera, the SOP all-girl pop group “La Diva” sang the Philippine national anthem before thousands of spectators in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada during the Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto clash.

The group, who rose to fame through the Sunday noontime show SOP, is composed of “Pinoy Pop Superstar” champions Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos, and Maricris Garcia. They were personally picked by Pacquiao.

For the Puerto Rican champion, it was Ednita Nazario who sang Puerto Rico's national anthem. The United States anthem, "American Idol's" Ramiele Malubay sang "The Star-Spangled Banner."
